​In addition to novels, I write occasional short fiction. I’m a member of the ZenAzzurri writers, which meets most weeks to discuss in depth why we haven’t written since the previous week (my excuses are average). The ZenAzzurri writers are named not for any esoteric reason, but because we started meeting in a café called Café Zen, and moved to one called Azzurri.

I'm married with two children. I'm also an NHS dentist, living and working in North London. The only sf connecter with dentistry, as far as I know, is the novel Prostho Plus, by Piers Anthony.
